Southwest Ohio Local Government Wage & Benefit Survey

The Center conducted an annual survey on public sector wages and benefits in Southwest Ohio. The Center collected and maintained a database on municipal wages, salaries, and benefits and prepares reports on various public employee compensation issues.  All cities and villages in a ten county area (Butler, Warren, Montgomery, Clark, Greene, Darke, Preble, Shelby, Miami, and Clermont Counties) as well as selected townships from across the state were surveyed.

Position Description Narratives: Benchmark position descriptions are provided as an aid in determining comparability of positions. The descriptions are intended to be general and included as an aid to respondents in city, village, and township governments. Click here to view the 2011 position description narratives.
